Boat race is a part of the biggest festival of Keralites known as Onam. Shymala Devi has created a replica of the boats in creative manner rowed in these races.
Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Black 02, Fevicol MR, Match sticks, Kundan Stones, Scissor and Mount Board.
Draw a boat shape on the mount board.Cut the different pieces of the boat, assemble them and stick them to form a boat using Fevicol MR. Let it dry.
Mix the Fevicryl Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener to form a even dough.
Mould small figures out of the dough and place them on the boat. Let them dry.
Stick matchsticks to the hands of the figures using Fevicol MR. Let them dry. Paint the figures with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Pearl Metallic Gold and the boat with Black. Let it dry.
Further decorate the boat by sticking kundans on it using Fevicol MR. Let it dry.
Apply a coat of Hobby Ideas Glue n Gloss on the boat. Let it dry.
