Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Black 202, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery - Light Green 704, Yellow 703, Red 701, White 707, Wooden Decoupage Square Placemat, Colour Palette, Fine Art Brushes, Water Container, A4 Sized White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Pencil, Glass Mirrors In Medium And Small Size

Step-by-Step Instructions

Take a wooden square placemat and paint it using Acrylic Colours – Black You may give two coats for an even finish Let it dry

Step 2

Draw a floral design in the kutch embroidery style on paper Trace a design in the centre of the placemat with white carbon paper

Outline the design in the traditional kutchi stitch style using Liquid Embroidery – Yellow, Red, White and Light Green. Similarly, fill the petals in a zig-zag pattern work from kutchi stitch using Liquid Embroidery Cone - Light Green, Yellow and Red.

Make dots on the entire border of the placemat using Liquid Embroidery – White, Light Green and Yellow. Place and press the foil mirrors on the Yellow and Light Green dots The Liquid Embroidery colours will form the ring around the foil mirrors Stud foil mirrors in between the floral kantha pattern as well referring to the image Leave it to dry
