Transform a plain sari into a gorgeous one

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Orange 17, Pink 18, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic- Gold 352, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette White sari, Design, Carbon paper, Silver fabric, Scissors, Decorative stones and sequences, Pencil.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Stick decorative stones and sequences using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

Step 2

Draw or trace the design on the pallu and center pleats of the sari.

Step 3

Wet the sari around the design and then paint using water shading technique with diluted Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Orange and Pink around the design. Leave to dry.

Step 4

Paint the flowers using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Pink. Leave to dry.

Step 5

Cut small leaves from the silver fabric and stick them on the sari using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Outline the leaves using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic- Gold such that it looks like an appliqué. Leave to dry.

Step 6

Outline the whole design using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic- Gold. Leave to dry.
