Put a feather in you cap with pretty painted feathers in vibrant colors! Easy, yet very impressive!
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - lemon Yellow 11, light green, Orange 17, White 27, Cerulean blue 32, Fine Art brushes, Colour palette, Water container, Fedora style hat, white feathers, paper plate, cotton swabs, paintbrush, paper, hat band,
Start with white feathers so that the colors will pop when painted.
Squeeze paint onto paper plate. I used coral, lime and blue. Get cotton swabs and paintbrush ready to paint. Cover the table with a piece of paper.
For stripes, brush paint diagonally from the center of the feather.
For edges, brush paint along the edges of the feather, on both sides.
For dots, dip cotton swabs into paint and dab onto feathers.
Let paint dry completely. Tie into the leather band of a straw fedora hat.
