Materials Needed

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Corrugated Box, Scissors, Wooden Ruler, Wooden Beads, Cobbler Thread, Colour Palette, Water Container

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

We are going to make the wall hanging to gift to the teacher with Mixed Media.
Take the corrugated box, mark and cut the letters Ms.Rosa’ with apple motif out of it.
We are going to cover the cut outs with Mouldit.
Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

Step 2

Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.

Step 3

Mark and cut the letters and the apple motif out of the slab.
Stick the letters appropriately on the corrugated letters with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Stick the clay covered apple and name cutout on the wooden ruler aesthetically with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.

Step 4

Paint the motifs with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, White 27, Leaf Green 62 and Sky Blue 63.
Let it dry.

Step 5

Depict and paint each motif like the slate, the black board, the 4 lined and 2-lined book, the numbers and the letter with pencil shape using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02 and White 27.
Let it dry.
Attach a few painted wooden beads along with the cobbler thread to the ruler to put it on the wall using Fabric Glue for sticking the thread.
Let it dry.
