Tortoise Candle Holder
Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Earthen Diya, Sandpaper, Ball Pen Refills.
Take diyas of different sizes and use them to make tortoise candle holders.
Soak the diya overnight and dry it.
Scrape the surface of the diya with a sandpaper to make it even.
Mix Hobby Ideas Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener to form a even dough.
Make long coils out of the dough wrap the diya putting it upside down to form the body of the tortoise.
Mould a head, four legs and a tail out of the dough and fix them to the tortoise. Let it dry thoroughly.
Paint the diya with Fevicryl Hobby Ideas Acrylic colour- Black. Let it dry.
Apply dry brush strokes with Fevicryl Hobby Ideas Acrylic Colour- Pearl Metallic Gold. Let it dry.
