Simple yet beautiful floral frame.

Materials Needed

Fevicryl Shilpkar, Fevicryl Terracotta Primer, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Dark Brown 05 and Black 02, Fine Art Painting Brush, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Wudfin,Wooden Ply.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Draw a floral design on the canvas paper.

Step 2

Paint the background with water shading technique using Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colours- Golden Yellow and Light Green. Leave to dry.

Step 3

Paint the leaves with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Emerald Green- use water shading technique, leave to dry and then outline with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Emerald Green. Paint the flowers with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Deep Rose - use water shading technique, leave to dry and then outline with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Deep Rose. Paint the centre of flower with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Dark Copper.

Step 4

Paint the branches with Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colour- Dark Copper. Leave to dry.

Step 5

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough. You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

Step 6

To make clay flowers, take Shilpkar dough and shape it in a flat drop shape. Join 5 such shapes o make a flower. Stick a flat round shape in centre of the flower. Stick the flower on the wooden frame. Use Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue for sticking. Make 6 flowers. To make leaves, take Shilpkar dough and shape it with fingers like a leaf. Mark veins with toothpick. Make 10 leaves and stick on the frame using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Leave to harden.

Step 7

Paint the flowers, flower centers and leaves using Fevicryl Pearl Sparkling Colours- Deep Rose, Golden Yellow and Emerald Green. Paint the branches on the frame using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic- Copper. Leave to dry.
