A plain white mundane kurti has been made into something so beautiful merely by fabric painting the yoke, cuffs and the slits of the kurti in a floral pattern. Make many such patterns on your garments to give them a fresh and revived look.

Take an A3 sized white paper. Draw a design with lotus flowers and leaves on it. Take a plain white kurti, trace the same design towards the neckline, on the sleeves and near the side slits of the garment using yellow carbon paper.
Paint the design using Soft Acrylic Sparkling Pearl Colours - Emerald Green 708, Light Green 709, Light Pink 713, Golden Black 717 and Soft Acrylic Pearl Metallic Silver 551. Leave it to dry.
Enhance the design by sticking ornamental stones using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. We have used a plain kurti, one could incorporate fabric painting on dupattas, stoles, sarees or even home décor elements like curtians and table linen. The advantage one has with handpainted or doing fabric painting is that it can be customised and personalised to each ones taste and choice.
